About Dr. Özgür Öztan

Dr. Özgür Öztan is a hair restoration surgeon with over 22 years of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) experience. He founded the HLC Hairline Clinic in Ankara, Turkey in 2003 with an exclusive focus on manual FUE, at a time when the technique was still relatively unknown in Turkey. Today HLC is one of the most established FUE-only clinics in Turkey, and Dr. Öztan is internationally recognised for his work on manual extraction, stick-and-place implantation, body hair transplantation and hairline design.

Through the Hair Transplant Training Center (HTTC), which he founded and chairs, Dr. Öztan has trained hundreds of physicians from more than 20 countries. His teaching philosophy emphasises quality over quantity, the same principle that guides his clinical practice.
